Lavastorm Analytics today announced the appointment of Toffer Winslow as its new General Manager, Analytics Business. As General Manager, Toffer will be responsible for expanding the company’s next-generation data discovery and audit analytics platform beyond the company’s stronghold in Communications into other industry sectors including Utilities, Financial Services, Insurance and Healthcare. With 18 years of experience building high growth software companies, Toffer is a seasoned manager who will focus on building a high velocity sales and marketing engine through both direct and partner channels.

Toffer’s appointment to General Manager is very timely, as companies everywhere are looking to analytics to help them unlock the value inthe many siloed, “Big Data” sets across their organization and drive greater financial performance across their business processes.  Toffer’s new position will give Lavastorm Analytics the ability to leverage current market opportunities and build upon its history of helping enterprises analyze, optimize and control business performance.

Prior to joining Lavastorm Analytics, Toffer held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at dynaTraceSoftware, where he played a key role in driving the company’s 100%+ annual growth which resulted in an acquisition by Compuware for $265M in July 2011.  Toffer also previously worked as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at ChoiceStream, and as the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at RSA Security,where he oversaw product management, marketing and partner development. Toffer received his B.A. from the University of British Columbia and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
