Step 1: Getting Started
The Directory interface lists all of the data flows (analytic applications), library nodes (reusable components) and schedules (automating the runs of data flows) that you have created and imported.
The Data3Sixty Analyze Designer interface is where you will build, analyze, troubleshoot and run your data flows. Learn about the Data Flow Canvas, Nodes panel, Properties panel and the Tool bar.
Learn how to quickly and easily build an end-to-end data flow by acquiring, preparing/correcting, joining and publishing data in Data3Sixty Analyze.
Step 2: Acquiring Data
Use the Excel File Input Connector node to import one or more Microsoft Excel files, each of which may contain one or more worksheets.
Use the Directory List Input Connector node to scan specified directories and output a list of files that meet the specified criteria.
Access the Data Viewer to view the data at any stage in your flow from input, through all the various transformations leading to the final export or publishing of the data.
Step 3: Preparing Data
Use the Data Converter node to discover the best data type for each field in the input data set and convert to the newly discovered data type.
Use the Transform node to provide a wide range of filtering and transformation operations, using Python script to configure output fields, process input data and produce output records.
Use the Filter node to filter a subset of rows from an input data set based on one or more groups of filter criteria that you define.
Step 4: Joining Data
Use the Join node to match records from two data sources to create an enriched data set with values from both inputs.
Step 5: Aggregating Data
Use the Aggregate node to aggregate your data based on a value(s) specified and output calculations based on the grouped data such as count, sum, first in group, last in group, average and more.
Step 6: Publishing Data
Publish data to the Tableau TDE file format, allowing you to work with the output data within the Tableau application.
