About Us

MDS Lavastorm Analytics was initially started in 1993 by a group of engineers from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) focusing on internet application development.

In 2000 they started to specialize in providing revenue assurance and inter-carrier cost management analytics solutions to the telecoms industry. In 2005, Martin Dawes Systems (MDS) a leading provider of Billing and CRM solutions acquired Lavastorm Technologies and in 2006 also acquired Swedish software vendor Visual Wireless, who brought additional revenue assurance and fraud management capability into what is now MDS Lavastorm Analytics. The business now works with Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and enterprises across the world, including Telefonica O2, BT, Telstra, MTN, Telia, KPN, Comcast and Vodafone.

Headed by Group CEO Drew Rockwell, MDS Lavastorm Analytics mission is to be global market leaders in providing business performance analytic software and services to help enterprises analyze, optimize and control their complex business processes and to extend powerful analytic capability to their end customers.
